The 7th Forum of Eurpoean Neuroscience... heard that learning to read requires the brain's visual system to undergo profound changes, including unlearning the ancient ability to recognize an object and its mirror images as identical.This might explain why so many kids draw their letters backward when their learning how to write. Hunter in particular likes to include backward Es and Rs when writing his name.
