Welcome Miles Vincent Meigs!

Yesterday at 8:00 AM on the nose, we welcomed Miles, our third son, into the world! He was 7 pounds, 13 ounces and has been the mellowest kid in the 28 hours he's been with us. He even let me sleep four and a half hours last night! I'm sure i'll write more about him later, but for now expect posting to be light as I spend some quiet happy time with my family.

When I Die...

I want my ashes to be pressed into a record. While I reserve the right to change my mind, as of right now I'd leaning towards Miles Davis' In a Silent Way.

Kind of Confusing

As much as I love Miles' Kind of Blue, I've never pretended to understand the musical theory behind it. Occasionally, someone will try and come close, but in the end I just don't get it. Perhaps if I played an insturment?

In the meantime, the LP will continue to be on in heavy rotation for weekend breakfasts and romantic dinners with my girl.
